ENGA CULTURAL SHOW

It's the biggest annual event in the province - a mass gathering of tribes from across the province for a proud celebration of traditional culture.

VILLAGE FESTIVALS
Ceremonies, rituals and singsing, are staged in Enga's far remote villages and visitors are now being welcomed in to experience these festivals.

Held every July in Laiagam District, before for the Enga Cultural Show.
This festival is centred around the Sangaii - a series of traditional initiaion rituals for young Engan males.

Held every August right after the Enga Cultural Show, at Mulisos in Lagaip District, before for the Enga Cultural Show.
This festival is centred around the fascinating traditional salt trade of Enga Province.

Held every July, the Kopen Take Pii Festival festival aims to preserve and promote the indigenous cultural resources of the Enga people, which are increasingly under pressure from modern global influences.
